Masakhane Schools Renovation Programme

NG Invest has introduced an innovative method of community infrastructure development using co-operative groups established within the project locality. The method ensures greater and more holistic socio-economic benefits to the community immediately around the project area. It further ensures identification of local skills and introduces deliberate support of local suppliers of materials and specialist services, thus preventing export of capital out of the community.

PRASA Community Empowerment Programme

The project as first piloted in the province of KwaZulu-Natal saw the 1st of November 2012 successfully marking the commencement of this ambitious project to empower communities in the fight against poverty, unemployment and low skills. The project uses a cooperatives based approach to community development driven in a manner that strengthens civic structures in targeted communities immediately surrounding the train station site. In 2013 the programme will be expanded to Gauteng and the Western Cape eventually covering a total of 87 stations country-wide.

Ludeke Primary School

Ludeke as a missionary school boasts a very rich heritage and history. It is one of the oldest missionary schools in the province of the Eastern Cape, and has produced world class alumni, one of which is world renowned freedom fighter, the late President of the African National Congress, Comrade Oliver Reginald Tambo.
